This Privacy Policy explains how Reshift (we, us) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit our website, contact us, or use our AI voice agents and chat widgets.

1. Who we are

Reshift is based in the UK. We act as a data controller for personal data collected through our marketing site, and as a data processor for personal data handled on behalf of our customers when operating their AI voice agents.

2. Data we collect

Contact details you submit through forms (name, email, phone, company).

Call data when you interact with a customer's voice agent: audio recordings, transcripts, caller phone number, call metadata.

Usage data: pages visited, device and browser information, IP address, cookie identifiers.

3. How we use data

To provide and improve the Reshift services, respond to enquiries, qualify leads, schedule bookings, and produce analytics for our customers.

To operate, secure, and improve our website and product.

To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Legal bases

We rely on legitimate interests for product operation and analytics, contract performance for paid services, consent for marketing communications and non-essential cookies, and legal obligation for tax and compliance records.

5. Sharing

We share data with vetted sub-processors (cloud hosting, telephony, speech and language model providers, CRM and email platforms) strictly to deliver the service. A current list is available on request.

6. Retention

Call recordings and transcripts are retained according to the customer's configured retention period (default 90 days). Marketing contact data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

7. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures.

8. Your rights

9. Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews.
